artwork and photography created by participants of the Accumulate programme
Supercity Art House, is an initiative from Supercity Aparthotels in partnership with the youth homeless charity – Accumulate.
This season, we are exhibiting pieces of art created by young homeless people in the community and they are available for purchase online and at our London properties in support of those affected by homelessness.
We have supported Crisis at Christmas annually since 2014, offering accommodation for their volunteers, so the launch of the Supercity Art House, and the partnership with Accumulate, is an exciting step in extending this support.
Accumulate, whose mission is to rebuild the lives of young homeless people through creativity, co-ordinate a series of workshops at hostels across London covering everything from creative writing to jewellery making. The artwork displayed as part of the Supercity Art House will showcase a range of the experimental artwork and photography created by participants of the Accumulate programme.
The proceeds are divided between the photographers, who can realise the value of their art, and Accumulate who can keep providing creative workshops to help more young people affected by homelessness improve their lives.
